Job Description Summary

Leads, coordinates and/or manages execution of marketing plans, identifies and executes opportunities for growth and share gain, and contributes to the development of a product/portfolio strategy including product positioning. Optimizes commercial execution though development of marketing and launch plans and aligning market insights with technology trends. The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (typically annual volume, margin and compliance requirements). Responsible for medium-sized sales territories.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Development of segmentation and go to market strategy and plans and marketing activation with customers and sales teams for a single or limited grouping of products within a region.

  • Utilizing in-depth knowledge of own and others sales territory, product lines, markets, sales processes or customer groups and uses analytical thinking and commercial experience to execute policy/strategy.

  • Having knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market

  • Proposing different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems with projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers. Ability to prioritize information for decision making. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.

  • Acting as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.

Required Qualifications

  • This role requires 5 plus years of experience in Region Marketing. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree (preferably MBA) from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
