Job Description

Roles & Responsibility

  • Process Design, Setting of process and establishment of Products in manufacturing

  • Set OEE standard & improve Machine efficiency.

  • Equipment verification & validation process.

  • Equipment installation and maintenance activities.

  • Equipment trouble shooting.

  • Maintain good history of issues as a Master Trouble Shooting Guide.

  • Equipment maintenance and plan

  • Implement FMI’s on the Products as applicable.

  • Process Validation activities.

  • Managing Engineering change (ECR/ECO) & implementations in manufacturing.

  • Preparation of Work instructions (SOP) & maintain revision history.

  • Preparation of Device History Records(eDHR) & maintain revision history.

  • Maintain PFMEA/DMR/Process Maps/Quality plans Training the team on Products, Processes & Changes.

  • Product BOM maintenance in Oracle(BOM implementation, Routing)

  • Managing Product cost (Labour hr, Cost roll up, BOM/ICV roll up etc…)

  • Product quality trend & corrective actions

  • Product problem solving and trouble shooting.

  • Corrective and preventive actions for part, process failures and customer complaints.

  • Managing Measuring tool/equipment calibration.

Delivery:

  • Support Engineering and production for VCP projects execution.

  • Execute Poke Yoke projects related to jigs & fixtures to simplify the manufacturing process.

  • Initiate & implementation of Kaizen across the manufacturing lines.

  • Lean Action implementations in manufacturing

  • Plant layout and optimization.

  • Maintaining inventory of Capital Goods (P&E) & ensure good traceability.

  • Ordering Tools, Jigs, Fixtures and equipment’s for manufacturing.

  • Support new programs and lead milestones n NPI

  • Layout design and process design

  • Encourage & Support teams to implement Kaizens in manufacturing

Cost:

  • Drive cost reduction projects to reduce tools & consumable in manufacturing.

  • Drive productivity projects in manufacturing

  • Drive labor productivity projects.

Safety:

  • Developing & ensuring safer process

  • Ensure safety requirement and managing safety element & matrix.

Other relevant responsibilities:

  • Compliance to site QMS procedures and Work instructions

  • Compliance to Site EHS policies and procedures

  • Ensure compliance to site HR & Admin policies
