Job Description Summary
HR support for client group Leaders, Managers and Employees on organizational and employee matters, as well as coaching, HR process expertise and other general HR activities. Individuals in this category act as the HR Manager of record for a client group. Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.
Roles and Responsibilities
A first point of contact for employees & managers who provides leadership, coaching and support for individual employee needs & HR processes. For use in businesses that are operating in the HR Partnership Model.
To be designated as the Welfare Officer of the Factory as per the Factories Act, 1948
Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.
Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults People Leader or more senior team members for issues outside of defined parameters.
Collaborates with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding.
To maintain cordial Industrial Relations in the factory
Responsible for ensuring Payroll processing done as per the defined guidelines
Involvement and driving Employee Engagement activities at the Plant
Hiring and induction of Trainee Workforce at the Factory
Handles simple data entry work requiring face value check and correction.
For roles outside of the USA- This role requires basic experience in the Human Resources & Employee Human Resource Management.
Masters in Social Work or MBA (HR)
With experience of minimum 3 to 4 years in a Factory Setup
Having handled Union relations is an added advantage
Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
