Job Description Summary
The Chief Software Architect, platforms will lead the imaging software platform team and in collaboration with executive, business, technology, and operations stakeholders, understand key business goals and market needs to develop forward looking software solutions for imaging scanners. As the senior technologist of the organization, You will be a critical partner for Imaging Chief Software Architect while also being a mentor and advisor to the engineering teams. You will be responsible for driving the strategic technology direction for imaging platforming areas, assisting stakeholders within imaging and digital organizations in building out roadmaps and driving priorities to meet various objectives.

In this role you will-
Develop, lead, and maintain organizational technical vision and the associated roadmap for imaging platforming. Work collaboratively with leadership among imaging and digital teams throughout the organization to construct and achieve this.
Provide thought leadership and planning for system-level architecture and critical components working closely with software systems, imaging solutions and GEHC digital teams.
Actively research new technologies and direct proofs of concept on emerging technologies impactful to imaging platforming direction and business strategy. Also, help manage the new technology adoption workflows.
Provide advice and status to senior management on technical strategy and alignment with business goals. Achieve significant outcomes on the roadmap by effectively influencing leaders across the organization.
Educate and evangelize proper use and conformance of technology standard practices and to promote appropriate development practices across development community.
Have internal and external presence including customers, commercials teams, educational institutes on current technologies and future directions.
Manage the architecture office in India, including mentoring, employee performance, engagement, and professional development for senior technical talent. Understands when and how to decentralize decision making to empower teams.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with more than 20 years of development & technology experience with significant time spent in technical architect role. MS/MTech. degree preferred.
Demonstrated experience managing architecture teams as a senior technologist supporting large organizations.
Demonstrated experience delivering high-performance, software including distributed systems, SaaS, event-driven systems, cyber security requirements and medical applications including AI/ML/DL. Experience in medical domain is preferred.
Demonstrated track record of success in transforming complex and large technical problems to deliver against strategic corporate objectives.
Must possess deep technical experience architecting and developing a range of large-scale, multi-tiered, high-performance, software systems with a focus on testability, extensibility, integration, and inter-operability.
Ability to understand how to create change in a fast-evolving organization. Capable of making right decisions towards business success.
Build a strong technical brand for the imaging platform engineering team. Help in attracting, hiring, and retaining top talent in the organization.
Wide range of working experience with an Agile development methodology.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
