Job Description Summary

As the Sr. Global Product Manager for the Performance & Value Fixed Rad segment, you will be responsible for defining the overall strategy and development of our performance and value x-ray product platforms and software applications to meet the needs of the global fixed rad market. You will own product definitions, including clinical and technical capabilities, service features, upgrade & lifecycle strategies. This individual will analyze market/business/product financials to identify opportunities for revenue growth, margin accretion, and market share gain for new and installed base system offerings. As a people leader, you will mentor and foster the development of our fixed rad program managers and lead program integrators. You will collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, engineering, service, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory to maximize the competitiveness of our fixed rad portfolio.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Creating the vision and defining the roadmap for development and commercialization of the performance and value fixed rad product portfolio.

  • Owning products end-to-end throughout the New Product Introduction (NPI) lifecycle, including new product development, installed-based offerings, and end-of-product/service life.

  • Ensuring the “voice of the customer” is reflected in product decisions and roadmaps, by building external customer relationships to gather feedback on prototypes and pre-commercial offerings. Collaborating with engineering, marketing, and clinical leaders to develop priorities, clinical and technical requirements, product differentiators, value propositions, and evidence generation plans.

  • Developing a deep understanding of customers’ clinical and economic needs, as well as values and benefits sought to build financial business cases in conjunction with strategic marketing, regional product marketing and finance as part of the NPI process.

  • Serving as the people leader for our team of program managers and lead program integrators

  • Serving as product point of contact for sales support in China, ASEAN, and Southeast Asia regions.

  • Collaborating with key-stakeholders, including program management, engineering, marketing, sales, manufacturing, finance, fulfillment, and services teams, to ensure compliance with quality systems, regulatory requirements, and commercial processes.

  • Working with Global Marketing to develop positioning/messaging, sales training materials & collaterals, commercial launch, and sales campaigns for NPIs

  • Delivering quality and service improvements over the product lifecycle and defining end-of-life strategies for older products. Driving variable cost productivity initiatives to improve margins while retaining performance and customer value. Optimizing system configurations and offerings to maximize portfolio profitability.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Engineering, Business Administration.

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in product/program management, product marketing, x-ray product sales, or engineering.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical device industry.

  • Previous experience of successfully managing at least two products through the NPI process

  • Team oriented with proven ability to work well with diverse, global and cross-functional teams to shape vision and product strategy

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills

  • Strong analytical and finance acumen

Desired Characteristics:

  • MBA or Master’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration

  • Strong technical and clinical understanding of x-ray technology and its medical applications

  • Deep Product Management/Marketing expertise, including: market trends/analysis, product commercialization and roadmap development, product life-cycle management with demonstrated ability to deliver margin accretive offerings to existing product portfolios

  • Customer-facing experience via sales, field applications, marketing, or clinical development
