Job Description Summary
As this role, you will mainly work electrical/electronic issue investigation at system and component level to support Crystal Nova manufacture fulfilment and site issue investigation. Also work with Global Mammo team to well monitor Nova product quality.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Crystal Nova Manufacturing Support Activities
Activities include electrical/electronic issue investigation at system and component level using appropriate measuring tools.
Perform trouble shooting encompassing multiple variables and unknowns to achieve root cause analysis and problem resolution. Conduct experiments and diagnostic tests, as required to draw conclusions.
Solves complex and ambiguous problems (motion control, X-ray acquisition).
Continuous improvement - Identify opportunities for quality and productivity improvements and drive continuous process improvements to address those opportunities.
Continuous improvement - Make design recommendations to improve reliability and resolve conflicting requirements.
Review necessary support documentation and maintain documentation for each test in a neat and organized fashion.
Offers suggestions to refine and automate test procedures; Prioritize and schedule testing; coordinate implementation with SME or Supplier Transfer team (localization).
Drives design change implementation across product iterations.
Compliance - Monitoring engineering standard changes & coordinate related changes implementation.
Crystal Nova IB Activities
Lead or be part of installed base customer issue and complaint investigation incl. IFR90(Infantile Failure Rate) defect monitoring & categorization, CSO( Customer Satisfaction Opportunity) & complaint resolution. Ensure feedback & appropriate actions are taken at program team level until completion.
Provide support (specialized training, service note communication & explanation)
Identify & make recommendations on productivity opportunities (Install, Warranty & lifecycle)
Engineering representative during annual audits
Provide technical support to region product teams (congress, technology trends, customer demo…)
Local manufacturer benchmarking activities
Ensure the engineering lab is at the expected level of performance
Qualifications / Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, or closely related discipline and at least 4 years relevant work experience.
Proven ability to develop timely and effective solutions for challenging design problems.
Demonstrated problem-solving techniques.
Demonstrated ability to make recommendations to technical and program leadership to improve the product, process or technology.
Effective communication skills, ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.
Proficient in the use of software tools for analysis and troubleshooting
Demonstrated ability to pursue tasks to completion.
Broad exposure to HW/Systems design, Image quality, and technical depth in Biomedical and/or Electrical domains

Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.
Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.
Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as Required
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science: Biomedical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
Experience in Seno Crystal & Nova Imaging Device or Digital Mammography.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Chinese and English
Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task.
Willing to work in a multi pole and multi-cultural environment.
Demonstrated skills in proactively identifying, facilitating and driving closure of actions and technical risks for a product.
