Job Description Summary

The Finance Leader is the business partner of Global Services Supply Chain (GSSC) in Asia. This position is responsible for financial management of Asia repair operations, Asia Gold Seal operations and Japan parts operations.

Job Description

Key responsibilities/essential functions include:

Business partner with Asia repair operations in budgeting, forecasting, reporting of repair & harvest center, ARC standards setting, inventory control and plant liquidations. Drive profitable growth by providing analysis on results and key metrics.

Lead monthly financial mechanism with quality and rigor by working with GSRO operation teams and HQ; lead follow-up actions on risks and opportunities

In charge of Japan parts operations cost planning & analysis, identify operations risks and opportunities, resolve unusual cases.

Lead financial mechanism in Japan. e.g. ledger closing, SII (1-year Plan), finance review, etc.

Lead GSRO annually SII/recast discussion with the broader teams and OP finalization by segments

Provide financial monitoring for Asia Goldseal shadow P&L.

Apply lean in business processes improvement by collaboration with the broader teams, e.g. work room projects, VCP projects, management reporting processes, etc.

Support ad hoc assignments based on business needs.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or above with minimum of six years of financial work experience

Clear thinking/problem solving: successfully led projects/process improvements within operations/finance functions; able to quickly grasp new ideas

Strong verbal communication skills: experience working across multiple levels, functions and regions; able to clearly articulate and synthesize complex information into simple messages; experience with story-telling on paper an added bonus

Self-starter with a sense of urgency coupled with effective project management abilities; able to balance multiple priorities and demonstrate strong commitment to deadlines and results

Fluency in English

Integrity: accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions and when dealing with others

Confidence / Assertiveness: strong influencing skills across business functions; confidence to approach all levels of management and staff and facilitate necessary dialogue

Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change

Adaptable/Flexible: ability to deal with high level of work stress due to deadlines and open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations

Experience working in a matrixed environment

Trained and/or certified in process improvement methodology such as Lean
