General Electric Marketing communications and digital Manager in Beijing, China
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Along with those identified below, other duties may be assigned.
Drive external marketing communications:
Strengthen the branding leadership of Service business in the market through compelling story telling campaigns and execution in traditional and digital ways.
Drive direction and strategy for Demand Generation, including development of lead generation programs, implementation and telemarketing/qualification, lead management process in Salesforce.com, campaign and KPI reporting with demonstrated ROI.
Provide organizational leadership in the development and execution of Marketing Communications campaigns to reach prospective customers, and current customers that: build brand, drive response, educate on core values, and capabilities.
Drive campaigns through multiple digital media, including email, website, micro- sites, social marketing, blogs, forums, RSS, and any new technology that develops. Oversee and maintain the use of web portals to strengthen information sharing, community building, and engagement internally and externally.
Develop and manage promotional events and trade show presence to achieve strategic and business development goals. Develop processes and metrics to ensure the highest level of return on company objectives and investment at events.
Interact constructively and provide vision and leadership to sales teams and product teams in the development of selling tools and programs that assist sellers in moving through the sales process –from prospecting to closing the sale and post sale follow-up.
Manage Marcom budget, including processing invoices, tracking expenses and monthly forecasts.
Collaborative, supportive, team-based thinking, and ability to establish and maintain a leadership role
Detailed Project Management experience within complex projects, and ability to be extremely focused and organized
High level of capability and experience in delivering results in a rapidly changing and intense environment
Up-to-date understanding of web marketing concepts, practices, programs, online marketing strategy and analytics including web administration, design, and electronic marketing tools
Ability to craft and execute value-based messages for the market
Knowledge of online business metrics/scorecards, campaign analysis, experimental design, segmentation solutions, modeling applications, media evaluation, forecasting and financial calculations (ROI), etc.
Process oriented and systems thinking
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Media, Journalism, PR, Communications, Marketing, or related
Minimum of ten years’ experience
Strong message drafting and message control skills in both Chinese and English
Experience at internal communication or Marketing communications and promotions. Both are preferable.
Open-minded, good team communication skill and capable to drive leadership conversation
Fluent in Mandarin and English (written and spoken) as well as Microsoft Office tools
