Job Description Summary
Engineering associated with the manufacturing process. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

Roles & R esponsibilities :
Duties include (but are not limited to):
Developing innovative designs to meet all requirements for performance, reliability, cost and manufacturability
Engaging in all phases of new product introduction and process development, including concept, architecture, documentation, design, prototype, test, supplier interfaces, manufacturing introduction and service support.
Leading software/digital solution delivery for excellent quality and productivity
Delivering improvements to product and manufacturing for high quality and productivity
Participate in new product introductions through software/digital solution development.
Driving LEAN manufacturing implementation
Maintain key equipment and process in good production performance
Qualifications / Requirements :
Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required Support compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before completing Design Outputs/Program Deliverables Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps, providing solutions when possible
Bachelor or above in software/digital/electrical Engineering or equivalent Experience in software/digital/electrical design for product, production or device delivery.

Strong experiment design and analysis experience and capability
Excellent data statistics and analysis experience and capability
Problem solving oriented skills
Design for reliability and design for manufacturing experience Experiences with process/machine development and manufacturing
6 sigma GB or above
Broad knowledge in process engineering, such as electrical, mechanical, material, etc. Demonstrated program/project planning capability
Demonstrated project leadership and influencing skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills Familiar with automation knowledge
