Job Description Summary

The role is accountable for proactively and holistically leading or supporting D&A (Data & Analytics ) activities that create deliverables that guide the direction and development for technological responses to disruptive forces, and driving targeted business outcomes. The ideal candidate should have deeply understanding on value-driven data lifecycle from data ingestion to insight development to data governance to analytics consumption.

The role should provide the leadership, facilitation, analysis and design tasks required for the development of an enterprise's data architecture to simplify data environments, data integration, data science and build-out of a Data Fabric. The role should create deliverables that help develop target-state guidance (reusable standards, guidelines, individual parts and configurations) for evolving D&A platform across the enterprise, in order to enable business strategy and deliver targeted business outcomes. The role should facilitate and orchestrate the delivery of targeted business outcomes through technical decisions.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Provide thought leadership in the areas of advanced data techniques, including data modeling, data governance, data integration, data management, data visualization, etc.

Drive digital innovation by leveraging innovative new technologies and approaches to renovate, extend, and transform the existing core technology base and IT estate.

Work with digital peers to complete tech evaluation, selection, proposal development & presentation to address client’s business issues and create repeatable and highly scalable D&A platform architectures and patterns.

Monitor and provide oversight to ensure D&A solutions are meeting design standards for quality, scalability, data retention, extensibility, performance and data refresh.

Understand, advocate, and augment the business and IT strategies — and, more specifically, data services development and delivery.

Collaborate with internal clients, other team members, project teams and staff in various IT functional areas as needed to fulfill the responsibilities described above.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 12 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing and operating large-scale data & analytics solutions with 3 years in data architect role.

Good understand on technology trends and the practical application of existing, new and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business and operating models.

In-depth knowledge of and experience with modern data management technologies is a must.

In-depth knowledge of and experience with data engineering technologies is a must.

In-depth knowledge of and experience with analytics & BI technologies is a must.

Hands-on experience in cloud technologies, network and security technologies is preferred.

MNC working experience is preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the capacity to articulate the case for IT investments and alternatives in the language of business.

Demonstrated successful records of rapidly building relationships with key stakeholders.

Ability to rapidly ramp up in new business and technology areas.

A motivated, self-directed, highly proactive attitude and approach.

Strong communications skills in both written and verbal in English.
