Job Description Summary

The Clinical Lead is the job working with the product management team and engineering team to provide the clinical knowledge on the product from the customer perspective, to support the product roadmap planning, advance technology development, clinical research, new product development program execution, and install base customer complaint handling and quality improvement.

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with customer to identify the new clinical need on DSA, especially on Cardiology.

  • Providing clinical assessment for install base customer complaints and quality improvement.

  • Provide clinical design input for new product development, including the intended use scenarios for the new product/features. Work with the LSD and Usability Design Engineer.

  • Providing clinical input for advanced technology development, including the clinical value assessment, clinical scenario definition. Work with the Principal Engineer.

  • Providing clinical input for product roadmap planning, including the clinical trend from the market, new clinical application identification. Work with Product Manager.

  • Lead the clinical usability evaluation of the feature concept design in new product development, including the formative/summative testing. Work with the Usability Design Engineer.

  • Lead the clinical validation for the new product development, including the design of clinical validation plan, execution of the plan, and summary the report. Work with the System V&V Lead.

  • Lead the application training of the new product development, designing the training material and performing the application training to the regional Application Training team. Work with the Regional Application Training Team.

  • Supporting clinical research for new product development, including supporting the ME sites training support, feedback collection and assessment. Work with the Clinical Research Leader.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree or above with Medical Imaging, Radiography or related field

  • 3+ years experience in Cardiology department in healthcare institutes or hospitals is preferred

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills in English and Chinese, able to present the clinical scenarios with structured presentation

  • Capable of quickly grasping clinical concepts from customer communication and observation

  • Good learning skill to understand technology and engineering knowledge for product design

  • Familiar with new product development process is preferred

  • Be willing to travel Frequently.

Preferred Qualifications:

Rich experience in Cardiology and Interventional DSA product.
