Job Description Summary
As the Senior Strategy Process Leader, you will implement and execute projects and processes to support the strategic direction of the Tubes & Ducts Value Stream. These activities will include execution of strategic make/buy decisions and value-stream level projects in additions to developing processes to support and control changes in Value Stream strategy. The work undertaken in this role will impact quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the team and have a direct and identifiable impact on strategic processes and policy. The position has significant input into priorities, execution methods and has moderate autonomy, requiring high levels of operational judgment and strategy execution.
Roles and Responsibilities
Engaging with and execution of the supply chain strategy across the Tubes and Ducts Value Stream. This will include recommending and then executing make/buy decisions in line with the value stream and each site’s strategic direction.
Has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
Analyzing, developing, and maintaining project/program schedules for key value stream programs and initiatives. Engagement with key pitching/catching site focal points to manage ramp up/down project plans.
Performing and presenting analysis of Supply Chain capacity by site, identifying risk areas and mitigation recommendations. Supporting growth/reduction analysis & scenarios by site, through analysis and development of standard tools for deployment and periodic review.
Developing policy & processes to support Source boards, NPI tollgate compliance and work transfers to ensure stakeholder engagement & alignment. Implementing and managing key performance metrics and project health.
Supporting engagement with suppliers on parts & programs subject to make/buy decisions.
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.
- Bachelor’s Degree accredited college or university + minimum of 5 years of Manufacturing and/or Program Planning and Execution experience.
