General Electric Lead Program Manager—Fleet reliability issues in Barcelona, Spain
The Top Issue Program Manager will lead & coordinate the implementation of systematic improvements for the most prevalent fleet-wide issues across the Wind business by coordinating functions such as Engineering, Sourcing, Parts, Projects & Services, Warranty and Finance, focusing on lowest cost and greatest business impact. This individual will maintain clear and consistent communications for ongoing top issues, accomplish cost avoidance, cost of quality reduction and support vendor recovery.
In this role, you will:
Be responsible for the program management of field quality issues for GE Wind
Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve field quality issue resolution
Challenge the team for productivity and cost saving solutions
Implement solutions for field quality issues
Closely and early engage with the engineering teams to represent the voice of the customer during root cause analysis and ensure a flawless transition to field execution. Manage the cost of quality for our business as it relates to implementing solutions for field quality issues
Support commercial and technical discussions with our suppliers
Travel to customer / supplier sites to lead the validation or testing of field solutions before releasing widespread
Prepare technical information letters and manage clear and consistent communications for internal and external Customers
Prepare business cases around each field issue program to be presented to the senior GE Wind Leadership Team
Ability to presentation technical solution strategy and provide progress updates to leadership
Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent wind field experience
Comprehensive functional experience (Project Management /Field Services/ Customer Exposure) as this role requires to lead cross-functional teams and lead regular customer communication
Ability to communicate effectively across a diverse audience, proven ability to interpret customer requirements and identify needs.
Fluent in English, additional languages would be desired.

Advanced degree from an accredited college or university
Superb program management skills
Self-starter, with personal ownership
Imagination to develop creative and cost-beneficial solutions for customers
Strong industrial awareness
Ability to use Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, Power Point, Access
Wind, Gas, Steam, or Generator installation, maintenance, and commissioning experience
Ability to speak and understand French, Spanish, German
Demonstrated success in working in a multi-functional / matrix team environment
