Role Summary:

This position is to be based at Ban Bung, Thailand.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the overall manufacturing process in relation to the successful fulfilment and timely delivery of customer orders, which would include outsourcing, purchasing, planning and scheduling, method planning

  • Drive breakthrough lead times to the industry

  • Responsible for efforts toward continual process improvements across functions.

  • Responsible for ensuring departmental goals are set and achieved

  • Responsible for leading large teams to successfully meet all business goals and objectives and ultimately to satisfy customer orders, on time, within budget and with the required quality specifications

  • Responsible for ensuring all HSE policies and procedures are followed and that the HSE of all staff is top priority throughout the groups

  • Coordinate and implement SOP best practice departmental process for all functions

  • Responsible for budgetary requirements of assigned manufacturing areas.

  • Responsible for capital expenditure

  • Responsible for customer satisfaction and interfacing with customers.

  • Responsible for ensuring maximum capacity expectations are fulfilled, both internally and externally

  • Day to day management of the management team, including goal setting, performance discussions, motivating and leading Responsible for being proactive in process improvement/driving lean initiatives

  • Developing international supply base/consolidate current suppliers to leverage improved product efficiencies

  • Special projects as assigned.

  • Responsible for the Legal and Policy Compliance of the plant location.

  • Any Other Duties as Required


  • A Bachelor’s Degree

  • Good written & spoken English language

  • Previous manufacturing experience (possibly gained over 10 years)

  • 5 years plus manufacturing plant leader position

  • Ability to be creative in setting goals and engaging employees

  • Forward thinking, strategic

  • Experience gained in a number of manufacturing areas, including metal manufacturing and assembly, planning and scheduling, outsourcing and particularly in relation to the delivery of customer orders

  • Experience of managing an entire group or function, in relation to production goals as well as staffing requirements

  • Previous experience of working with QA standards and practices

  • Previous experience of production, assembling and testing a variety of complex equipment and products would be beneficial

  • Experience of managing the day to day requirements regarding the management of personnel, which includes but is not limited to the allocation of workload, handling employee relation issues, performance reviews and the general training, coaching, motivating and mentoring of staff.

  • Experience of working to a variety of business goals in relation to inventory, customer orders, deliveries, HSE, quality and financial

  • Experience of managing a purchasing and outsourcing function including strategic initiatives

  • Experience of Shipping requirements/logistics

  • Previous experience of undertaking management responsibilities in relation to the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) of employees and facilities

  • Experience of driving an interdependent safety culture

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as engineering blueprints, safety instructions / manuals; maintenance instruction procedure manuals, and manufacturing drawings

  • Knowledge of LEAN, 6sigma, Continuous Improvement programs

  • Knowledge of HSE within a manufacturing environment, particularly in relation to the management of personnel

  • Knowledge of quality standards required within a manufacturing environment

  • Knowledge of SAP in relation to the manufacturing processes

  • knowledge of the products being manufactured within completion and production product lines would be beneficial

  • Knowledge of principles, concepts, theories and practices within the Production Assembly and Warehouse fields.

  • Management Skills in relation to being able to manage an entire function within a manufacturing environment

  • Skills in the supervision and management of a large team of employees.

  • Skills in leading, mentoring, coaching and developing others

  • Skills in the ability to lead and motivate both immediate and dispersed teams and the ability to be pro active

  • Ability to work in a team (both own function and across other functional teams) as well as being able to work on own initiative

  • Skilled in the use of SAP and Microsoft Office packages

  • Ability to work safely and ensure others works safely.
