Job Description Summary
CM&U (Construction, Modification & Upgrade) Finance Manager will provide finance leadership support to the Europe CM&U General Manager . Responsible for planning, pacing and closing of transactional CM&U project portfolio, financial reviews of major attention projects and margin reviews.
Roles and Responsibilities
Partner with PMs to ensure correct project structure set-up in RealTrack. Provide finance guidance on issues around RealTrack financials, As-Sold, Current-As-Sold, Change Order Booking and approval.
Drive Europe TX Upgrades pacing and submit to regional FP&A & Business Lines. Attend Sub-Region and Region Pacing/Punch-List Calls to respond to TX Upgrades related items.
Prepare Financial presentations for Monthly PMO Operating Reviews. Provide finance support for presenters, validate financial data shared with leadership.
Prepare TX Pacing Financials per the Region Pacing Calendar. Including Quarterly Pacing, Future Quarter Refreshes, next year backlog analysis.
Utilize fulfilment Tools to support pacing assumptions, validate revenue fungibility, deferred costs booking, update pacing by dynamic nature of project execution.
Partner with PMO Leadership and Project Managers to assess project quarterly risk and assist in understanding and documenting productivity positive and negative.
Prepare, analyze Cost Forecasts for Europe Transactional Upgrades portfolio. Review with Project Managers and PMO Leadership risk, opportunities, and project execution concerns that may translate to financial impact. Cross reference with fulfilment organization and action any discrepancies.
Lead margin reviews and support MAP reviews of complex projects.
Support consolidate / report total CM&U segment financials including CSAs, MMPs.
Support Stat and Tax queries related to TX Upgrades projects executed on Fusion CCL (Canada) and A3M (DR 4) Mexico Books. Provide commentary on revenue/CM drivers for key projects.
Assist/Consult in FINSUM (Deal Financials) Template Completion, partner with Controllership team on validating 606 Account Project Structure…confirm FMV assessment, POB scopes and Rev Rec Methodology.
Champion the EMIS ERP transition into CS Alpha, from a OTR Finance standpoint.
Several years of accounting and finance experience, preferably with exposure to project accounting and reporting
Advanced excel skills
Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
Bachelors in Accounting or Finance or related subjects, or relevant experience
Working experience in leading ERPs (Oracle, SAP, Hyperion etc.,)
