Job Description Summary
The EHS Data Sustainability Specialist is responsible for delivering technology and digital solutions and support for EHS Management System processes across GE Steam Power. The role will define, establish, design, implement all EHS digital aspects and provides technical / digital expertise within area of expertise. Maintain EHS Tools and Processes, identify possible solutions to technical problems, and find opportunities to improve.

Roles and Responsibilities
Act as the point of contact on all EHS digital process and tools (example : Gensuite Benchmark, Sofi, ComplyWorks, SVO, Pmx, Tableau, Reg monitor, ENHESA, ISN, GE Learning, SharePoint) and own EHS digital transformation & system upgrade/change
Design, Run, and publish EHS dashboards, gate keeping for key EHS metrics as set by GE corporate and Steam Power EHS HQ. Establish and maintain Business level KPI trackers, perform Corp metrics verification and data rollup/delivery, including accuracy assurance and auditing of all EHS related data and statistics.
Support assigned EHS projects and initiatives and relevant Legal entities
Representing Steam Power in the related GE collaboration / Subject Matter Expert groups
Implement lean, project management and other efficiency methodologies to ensure EHS tools and processes are efficient, compliant and user friendly.
Lead EHS Tools& process budget planning and make sure projects are executed in a compliant and safe way while meeting budget and timeline targets.
Digital tool technical support & vendor interface, general tool & issue management/ownership, strategy/rhythm/statement of work with EHS data platform providers
EHS digital platform (Gensuite Benchmark) applications support, system data integrity, and tool updates, applications coordination with the Gensuite Benchmark vendor/Administration support, providing administration support, as needed
Manage and coordinate Steam Power training delivery (trainer database, classroom creation in learning system, and training matrix maintenance)
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer science, Computer Software, Computer Systems Engineering, Information Systems, EHS, Engineering, Business or equivalent experience
A few years´ experience in working in tools and processes or in EHS function.
Demonstrated ability to organize, motivate and influence teams, drive change and interact cross functionally
Ability to work in a matrix environment, influence and motivate diverse teams to achieve a unified goal
Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and other responsibilities, adjust to changing priorities and to make decisions with speed and accuracy based on available information
Ability to communicate using English
Preferred Qualifications (not essential but nice to have):
Knowledge of GE’s EHS programs and policies
EHS business acumen within Power, Energy industry
Working knowledge of Gensuite Benchmark EHS Management System, Sofi, Spotfire, Tableau, ComplyWorks, ISN, & ENHESA
Ability to manage and work with third party vendors
Experience in applying Lean tools and project management tools
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
Ability to nurture innovation and creativity
Accredited certification in behavior safety or HOP
