Role Summary:

Leads the program to develop, maintain and govern the architecture across the organization. Accountable for highly complex enterprise wide projects that require in-depth knowledge across multiple specialized architecture domains. Leads integration of enterprise system/platform. Works across all technical and functional domains.

  • Leads the business-wide technical and business discussions relative to future enterprise direction.

  • Defines principles that guide technology decisions and the relationships between enterprise business context (industry and market trends) and specified technology.

  • Accountable for development of highly complex enterprise wide Data & Analytics Platform that require in-depth knowledge across multiple specialized architecture domains such as Cloud, Edge, Big Data technologies and modern open source tech stack.

  • Leads technology decision making across multiple organizations and matrix organizational structure.

  • Identifies driving CTQ’s including gaps or alignments that drive requirement activities.

  • Promotes the EA process, outcomes and results to the organization and senior business leadership.

  • Leads and facilitates the creation of governing principles to guide EA decision making.

  • Contributes to the development of software, data and technology platforms that are service-oriented with reusable components across teams (multiple teams) that can be orchestrated together into different methods for different businesses.

  • Works with business leadership to establish a technology research strategy and roadmap.

  • Leads the development and execution of a communication and education plan for the enterprise architecture.

  • Accountable for architecture that supports total cost of ownership (TCO), business impact and market competitiveness

  • This role is set apart by the management and strategy of a multiple business areas, disciplines, or geography and the breadth of the role. This leader may manage other managers or individual contributors.

  • The leader is both a technical leader within the function and also is responsible for developing and coaching his/her employees within the function. They are seen as setting strategy.

  • This leader will be influencing from a strategic and technical standpoint across the function and the business. Leaders also need to be able to influence beyond the scope of their immediate business segment, potentially across modalities and CoEs.

  • Financial responsibility and accountability with strong metrics.

  • Develop peer, cross-functional and cross-business relationships to maximize best practice sharing and team effectiveness

  • Responsible for management activities including recruiting, development, performance management, compensation, organization and teaming

  • Select, train, develop, manage and lead the people Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).

  • A minimum of 14 years of professional experience in a technical area (Architecture, Software, or Information Technology).Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be willing to work out of an office located in San Ramon, Redmond or Atlanta Desired Characteristics: Technical Expertise:

  • Work experience in Power Industry and/or Fortune 50 Companies or Conglomerates

  • Extensive experience in Cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform

  • Strong understanding of Software Product Industry as well as Enterprise IT domain

  • Leads the business-wide technical and business discussions relative to future enterprise direction, aligning architecture strategy with enterprise goals.Business Acumen:

  • Cultivates a culture that proactively uses market data to drive growth. Continually monitors industry dynamics and market trends, and anticipates how those trends will impact GE's and our customers' profitability.Leadership:

  • Works with Senior Business leadership to approve allocation of budget to meet architectural initiatives critical to business/mission success.
