General Electric Strategic Insights Leader, Southeast in Atlanta, Georgia

Job Description Summary

Responsible for region awareness, understanding and adoption of commercial strategies built by the central Strategic Insights and Strategic Deployment teams. This role requires continuous direct engagement with region senior staff and next level managers. Additionally, provides a critical feedback loop from the region leadership to the central strategy team. This role is co-located with and acts a dotted line member of the region presidents staff collaborating with region HR, finance, and commercial operations team to enable region achievement of business objectives.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provides ongoing awareness, understanding and adoption of commercial strategies from both the Strategic Insights and Strategic Deployment within 1 of 5 U.S. regions

  • Consistently shares Strategic Insights and Deployment plans with region team. Takes action to evaluate region performance vs. KPI’s and address performance gaps working with senior region leadership and supporting staff.

  • Insights and Deployment Focus Areas

  • Capital Equipment Market insights, including long-term product market projections and quarterly share performance.

  • Capital Equipment Life-cycle insights, including installed base retention, competitive replacement, targeting programs and business planning.

  • Services Market & Life-cycle, including capture trends, installed base targeting programs and business planning.

  • Customer Market, including key accounts strategies, customer share of wallet programs, understanding of customer segments and macro-level industry trends.

  • Deployment, including plans for Key Accounts coverage, Product and Service sales direct, sales agent, virtual/inside and distribution coverage.

Required Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience supporting sales strategy or 5 years of experience supporting a large (200+) matrixed sales organization requiring regular communication with senior leadership.

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Strong data analytics and reporting skills (i.e. Ability to manage large datasets, assess impact, identify trends and insights to drive positive outcomes)

  • Skilled with MS-Excel

  • Established project management skills.

  • MedTech or Healthcare experience.
