Roles and Responsibilities

The ERP Fusion Cloud – Project Manager is responsible for managing ERP projects for Global GED organization. Leverages deep Project management methodology and domain expertise to drive Oracle Cloud ERP execution across multiple interdependent instances. ensures outcomes deliver on time, within scope and budget and of desired quality. Coordinate’s wing-to-wing execution of technical projects to deliver high quality outcomes to internal and/or external customers. Works with ERP functional & technical teams to leverage standard work through all phases of the product lifecycle. Defines execution standard work and processes through the entire Oracle ERP lifecycle and enables all Oracle ERP stakeholders to adopt as value-add. Acts as agile transformer to continuously improve processes leading to on-time delivery and quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own & drive end to end implementation of cloud ERP projects and enhancements. Create and manage an overall project plan including budget, structure, schedule, and staffing requirements.

  • Be the point person as the primary project driver and go-to resource for projects/enhancements.

  • Facilitate daily stand-up meetings with IT, Functional & business teams.

  • Lead Oracle ERP projects to bring together dependent components of the solution into one integrated plan through requirements, design, development, testing and go-live

  • Coordinate with Business/Functional Owners, Development Leaders, Testing Team and Shared Service teams to deliver Oracle Cloud ERP projects & enhancements

  • Ensure existing ERP Standard Work, Program Management, and Compliance practices are appropriately followed. Co-build standards with ERP Program Manager & drive simplification and improvement in existing processes.

  • Solid understanding of Oracle project methodology (OUM) and testing strategies such as Conference Room Pilots (CRP) and Process Playbacks (SIT and UAT etc.) following SLDC methodology

  • Manage day-to-day execution of multiple interdependent projects by working directly with global technical teams. Support execution team with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies

  • Develop, plan, and execute testing strategies and scenario. Build rigor in QA process

  • Partner with other technical and functional teams to ensure their tasks are completed as per the plan

  • Manage project risks, scope changes and other non-standard events and how they affect the critical path throughout the life of the project

  • Frequent communication and progress reporting to ERP Stakeholders

  • Clearly communicates program status, issues, risks, and change in plans to senior management

  • Identify best practices and implement capabilities that drive optimization of processes and automation through financial systems technology including existing and emerging technologies

  • Mentor teammates with focus on clear establishment of plans, goals, and deliverables.

  • Continuously review operating metrics to identify and scope optimization opportunities.

  • Review performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented projects.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationship with all stakeholders.

  • Foster a professional, respectful, and welcoming work environment, while maintaining standards for operational excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in computer science, information systems

  • Total of 8-10+ year’s work experience with focus in Project Management/Business Analysis

  • 4+ years of experience as ERP Project Manager

  • 4+ years of experience in Oracle ERP (Cloud/On-Prem)

  • PMP, ScrumMaster or related Project Management certifications
