Roles and Responsibilities

The ERP Fusion Cloud – Finance & RMCS Implementation expert will lead major rollouts, enhancements, projects in RMCS & Oracle Cloud ERP Finance modules. This role will report to programs lead of Financials workstream of Cloud ERP. This role will partner with the business teams, IT teams and our vendors to plan, design, execute, test, document and lead on all items offered as part of the ERP SaaS offering. This individual will apply proven communication and problem-solving skills to solve issues related to the deployment of the Oracle ERP.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead from front all projects / programs product design in RMCS workstream including integrations with other sub-ledgers like Order Management/PPM/Subscription Management/Receivables/General Ledger

  • Drive value-based enhancement requests and delivery of business-critical ad-hoc requests

  • Ability to develop quality documentation that clearly articulates solutions and the ability to perform demonstrations

  • Ability to work with various customers/departments/users to design, deploy and solutions according to the user requirements and Oracle best practices

  • Design, build and deploy Oracle ERP applications, troubleshooting, identifying issues, performing root cause analysis, documenting, and providing the best solutions to meet business needs

  • Be a contributing team member of the larger cross functional team and assume accountability and responsibility for managing projects in Fusion

  • Develop credible and high-integrity relationships with business, IT and Vendor

  • Review requirement documents, create and maintain technical design and other required documents per the Standards and Processes

  • Solid understanding of Oracle project methodology (OUM) and testing strategies such as Conference Room Pilots (CRP) and Process Playbacks (SIT and UAT etc.)

  • Collect requirement from business users for new entity rollout, perform FIT/GAP analysis, provide possible solutions for identified GAP. Manage requirement traceability matrix throughout the implementation project

  • Prepare AS-IS and TO-BE process maps in the above-mentioned modules

  • Prepare requirement document, functional design document (MD50) and BR100 (Configuration) document

  • Excellent communication skills adapt in business interaction and understanding business applications

  • Handle escalations during close cycle while prioritizing defects during non-close cycle

  • Write ad-hoc SQL queries to troubleshoot issues and develop OTBI reports for analysis

  • Partner with finance controllers/tax/operations/commercial users to evaluate and improve business processes and arrive at mutual, cost effective solutions

  • Analyze and present new capabilities/functionalities offered by Oracle in every release and perform thorough impact analysis

  • Extract data from Cloud ERP and map to other source systems, destination systems and transformation processes for all data conversion / migration projects

  • Escalate and conduct OWCs to obtain a timely resolution while negotiating a workaround

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in computer science, information systems and/ or finance.

  • Total of 8+ year’s work experience with focus in Oracle On-Prem ERP’s and/or Fusion Cloud ERP

  • 4 years of experience with ERP’s RMCS modules including integration to DOO/PPM/AR/Subscription Mgmt., GL

  • A solid understanding of Oracle SaaS offering in all Functional areas with focus on RMCS

  • Strong understanding of functional and technical requirements of all the CEMLI items

DESIRED CHARECTERISTICS:

  • Hands-on experience with the Oracle ERP RMCS modules, tools, and associated components, including configuration/customization strategies and implementations, workflows, groups, roles, etc.

  • CA/CPA certification is a plus

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills within a business and/or technical context, particularly with translating customer requirements into technical solutions

  • Customer-focused with a high level of customer service, interaction skills

  • Strong team-oriented interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and execute with strong problem-solving skills

  • Experience with Fusion Upgrades and preparing for each successful upgrade
