Role Summary:

The Sr Staff Technical Program Manager will lead the Supply Chain Technology engagement with priority GE Power Manufacturing sites to understand pain points and identify tools to address them while providing project direction to the regional and site leads for requirements for smooth site preparedness for the tools, including data and process readiness. You will partner closely with the Global Lean and Supply Chain leadership team to determine readiness, scope, and identify resource risks.

  • You will define the fit/gap to current tools and provide clear requirements for gaps and negotiate with product teams to prioritize and close them with either global or site specific enhancements. You will act as a liaison for the business to provide input into the Toolset Roadmaps and Feature set Priorities.

  • Leverages deep technology, process and domain expertise to drive execution across multiple interdependent projects within a program; ensures outcomes delivery on time, within scope and budget and of desired quality. Defines execution standards and processes to be followed by all project managers within the program or department.In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with business and functional partners and technology leadership in aligning or defining new requirements to technology offerings of Power Supply Chain DT

  • Outline multi-generational project strategy aligned to deliver on the expected outcomes focused on Sub-P&L alignments with a global mindset

  • Organize project teams comprising from internal and external technical and functional experts based on budget, scope and timeline

  • Manage stakeholder engagement and alignment to allow faster digital roadmap execution

  • Manage day-to-day execution of multiple interdependent projects by working directly with global technical teams. Manage procurement and onboarding process

  • Develop pre-deployment methodologies for common toolsets by deployment type providing a consistent poke-yoke approach to provide fast and efficient projects from onboard to execution

  • Coordinate execution across multiple projects and drive shared approach and outcomes tracking

  • Support execution team with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies. Partner with technical and functional teams external to the project to ensure their tasks are completed as required

  • Manage project risks, scope changes and other non-standard events throughout the life of the project

  • Manage stakeholder communication and progress reporting at various levels of the organization including leadership and executives

  • Ensure quality of deliverables is verified and matching stakeholder expectations

  • Track project outcomes realization and customer satisfaction levels through established metrics against service level. Ensure lessons learned are collected

  • Perform initial and final financial reviews, and ensure ongoing budget tracking Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, or Engineering or 4 years of IT technical experience

  • Minimum 8 years of IT professional experience

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Software Development Project Management including project and financial management leading cross functional initiatives and/or large global projectsEligibility Requirements:

  • Proven experience defining strategic methodologies to deliver business value quickly and assess gaps to current processes/tools for driving standards

  • Proven track record of driving standard tool adoption and aligning functional and technical teams to a common goal

  • Experience estimating budgets and then managing budgets including budget, spend, and liquidations

  • Excellent influencing, interpersonal and communications skills (both written and verbal) with all levels of an organization

  • Self-starter - requires minimal direction to accomplish goals with a Lean mindset aimed at helping the Supply Chain organization eliminate unnecessary waste by using digital tools and technologies as well as partnering with Lean experts to drive process improvements

  • Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and / or industry activities

  • Strong team player – collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources

  • Applies knowledge to coach and mentor others

  • Demonstrated customer focus – evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer, builds strong customer relationships, creates processes with customer viewpoint and partners with customers to help shape their future initiatives
