Job Description Summary
Responsible for working in lock-step with application or domain leaders acting as a senior technical product manager to create a clear strategic direction that will be delivered by the product development team. You will work with the team and deliver a clear and descriptive set of requirements to enable the delivery of product features and functionality. Your priority is seamless integration and alignment of perspectives from a broad set of stakeholders including but not limited to: Customers, Process Owners, Enterprise Architects, Application Managers, Development teams and Technical Architects.
Roles and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Interact with customers/stakeholders in VOC requirements-gathering, fine tuning, and obtaining product feedback.
Works with cross-functional teams to deliver features and products.
Shows increasing understanding of the technology stack and its impact on the final product.
Routinely collaborates with UX Design to know customers and understand behaviors.
Utilize Design Thinking and business process modeling techniques to facilitate feature / story definition. Act as the functional subject matter expert in the assigned domain.
Translates unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work unit.
Primary person responsible for story decomposition and elaboration; actively collaborate with business stakeholders and Product Owners to build out the Agile backlog in your area of focus.
Engages frequently (50% of the time) with the development team; facilitates discussions, provides clarification, story acceptance and refinement, testing and validation; contributes to design activities and decisions.
Define success metrics for key capabilities and releases; on a monthly/quarterly basis analyze how the product is performing against established KPI’s.
Work with QA leads to help ensure appropriate QA test coverage and support QA automation pipeline buildout.
Work with Product Owners and Product Managers to create and maintain core product artifacts including KPI’s, product roadmaps, user personas, journey maps, TCO models and product backlog.
Bachelor's Degree with minimum 6 years of professional experience
Desired Technical Expertise:
Knowledge of software design / enterprise systems implementation lifecycle (this role is not a technical role, but technical acumen is a plus)
Experience working in an Agile environment with cross functional teams and tools similar to (Rally, Copado, QTest, etc.) is required
Familiarity with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and CPQ (BM, Salesforce, etc.) or equivalent software is required
Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems
Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts
Has the ability to analyze impact of technology choices
Skilled in negotiation to align stakeholders and communicate a single synthesized perspective to the scrum team. Balances value propositions for competing stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience supporting Agile squads implementing web / mobile / eCommerce solutions on the Salesforce Platform. Familiar with Agile / Scrum methodologies and tools (Rally, etc.).
Management, Business / Product Analyst experience in sales, marketing or supply chain for a high-tech B2B or software company is required.
Experience working with both on-shore and offshore delivery teams
Experience with applying LEAN techniques to Agile SW delivery a plus
