General Electric Senior Services Manager in Atlanta, Georgia

Role Summary:

Responsible for the implementation of SaaS software, hardware or solutions. Oversees and supports multiple implementation projects. Reviews external clients product demands, develops project plans and ensures that implementations are completed on time, within budget, and meet client expectations. May be involved in pre-sales product demonstrations or provide assistance in scoping projects or developing proposals.

Essential Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

• Be involved in pre-sales product demonstrations or provide assistance in scoping projects or developing proposals.

• Ensure that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.

• Perform all installation tasks related to new customer implementations for the entire Rail (TMS, mCrew, etc) product suite.

• Collaborate with Project Managers and Services Consultants throughout the project to identify and scope application changes while adhering to the change management process

• Execute on and potentially serve as the technical lead for the implementation of software solutions.

• Own technical deliverables during the entire lifecycle of the projects.

• Engage throughout the full lifecycle of assigned projects, influencing decisions on design and functionality to keep projects on track in terms of budget, time, and customer expectations.

• Effectively leverage product capability, driving standardization, limiting customization, and maximizing reuse of content developed for previous solutions.

• Interact with Product Development Team, Commercial Team, Customers, Solution Providers (Partner / Integrators), and other cross-functional teams as required for the solution and participate in processes to ensure the best practice use of GE Transportation products and services.

• Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with peers and team members as an inclusive team member, supporting pre-sale strategy (as needed) and project execution.

• May serve as technical leader or mentor on complex, integrated customer implementations, either within individual project teams and/or cross-organizationally.

• Maintain & continuously update technical skills and knowledge.

• Work independently as well as part of the team.

• Maintain strong customer relational and communication skills.


• 3 -5 years of experience in software services AND/OR 3-5 years of experience in Transportation Logistics or Supply Chain Services.
