General Electric Senior Director - Data & Analytics in Atlanta, Georgia

Role Summary:In this role, you will be responsible for driving finance transformation across GE businesses by engaging with senior leadership within finance, including, CFO, FP&A, Controllership teams. Additionally, you will be expected to understand the business finance process problems and will recommend FDL product to solve the same. You will be expected to provide the feedback to Product management team in FDL & influence their roadmap based on business needs

Essential Responsibilities:Partner with GE Power finance teams to capture priorities and requirements, and keep a disruptive mindset to drive the transformation by challenging the status quo and align the vision for how finance would operate with the FDL implementation

•Manage the communication with business executives and senior leaders to update status, potential roadblocks and next steps

•Work with FDL products owners to understand potential benefits and solve problems if any

•Provide creative solutions to business executive teams based on existing & future product landscape of FDL

•Evangelize and drive adoption of core FDL products amongst business finance user community

Qualifications/Requirements:Basic Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) and a minimum of 10 years professional experience

•GE Leadership Program Graduates will get credit towards relevant work experience, commensurate to the program they have completed

•Must be willing to work out of a GE office located in Atlanta, Georgia

Desired Characteristics:•Extensive experience in analytics development for industrial applications in a commercial/industrial setting

•Broad experience in FP&A or Controllership

•Demonstrated expertise in translating customer need into data and analytics requirements

•Demonstrated expertise in the design, development, verification, and validation of descriptive, applied, predictive, and prescriptive analytics for industrial applications •Confidence and proven ability to influence and work across multiple key stakeholders

•Solid Analytical Skills

•Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and achieve quality results

•Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

•Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems

•Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects.

•Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs

•Must have worked in finance function as part of prior experience
