Job Description Summary

The location of this role is flexible, and can be based anywhere in the United States. The Demand Creation Campaign Manager will be part of GE’s Power business On-line Demand Creation team, which drives increased productivity, efficiency, and ultimately, delivers revenue for sales utilizing online channels. This agile, digital-savvy team is focused on partnering with sales to help drive revenue growth and customer retention via compelling digital content and campaigns, engaging digital tools and establishing new online customer relationships. This individual will understand the customer needs and motivations and ensure our activities and campaigns add value to every stage of the buyer journey.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

The Demand Creation Campaign Manager will be responsible for partnering across the GE Power business and working across digital marketing channels to deliver integrated digital experiences that enable new avenues for revenue growth and support customer loyalty.

  • Develop, execute and measure integrated, omni-channel digital marketing campaigns, aligned with business priorities and sales goals.

  • Engage cross-functional business teams through campaign strategy development, planning, execution, and optimization.

  • Lead research efforts including SEO, SEM, web activity, voice of sales, and voice of customer to inform campaign strategy and approach.

  • Ensure “customer-first” approach to developing campaign strategy and tactics.

  • Create innovative, successful and measurable demand generation and influencing campaigns to drive qualified leads to sales and support customer engagement through the sales lifecycle.

  • Manage the development and deployment of omni-channel campaign content and digital media planning including landing pages, webinars, SEM, display and programmatic advertising, personalization, email, social, and paid media.

  • Understand, map and implement digital programs aligned to the relationship across buyer’s journey/persona mapping/content creation.

  • Design and execute lead nurture and influencing strategies that reengages previous leads, known customers and helps to accelerate opportunities.

  • Establish calendar of communication/audience acquisition strategy that layers key tactics and content to support established sales goals.

  • Regularly measure and report on campaign performance and results against internal goals and external benchmarks and be able to explain campaign performance to non-experts.

  • Monitor digital analytics against KPIs, evaluating and optimizing for strong performance and ensuring a proactive feedback loop on campaign learnings to influence future strategies and create valuable actionable recommendations.

  • Support continual digital strategy growth through external bench-marking and communication of new trends and applications.

  • End to end management of digital campaigns, including: Campaign set up, QA, ongoing analysis, and optimizations with a clear understanding of campaign goals, objectives and KPI’s.

  • Stand up campaigns quickly, run them and be accountable for the results.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 5- 10 years of marketing experience with 3 – 5 years of digital media experience, preferably in the energy industry.

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong experience managing B2B performance marketing, lead generation or user acquisition campaigns.

  • Experience with AdWords/LinkedIn/Digital Paid Media at a practical application level.

  • Experience with email planning, creation and execution.

  • Ability to translate vision/mission of an organization into actionable, quantitative plans.

  • Consistent and successful track record of performance in all areas of responsibility.

  • Ability to understand and communicate complex business, legal, regulatory and technical issues clearly and accurately.

  • Ability to work with all levels of internal and external stakeholders to facilitate a digital communications strategy and execution.

  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed environment.

  • Superior oral/presentation and written communication skills; highly articulate and able to make key points in direct and compelling manner.

  • Outstanding project management skills, demonstrated ability to deliver on-time and on-budget.

  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to aggregate data from multiple sources to make educated decisions on campaign optimization and spend across all marketing channels.

  • Demonstrated critical thinking to promptly navigate obstacles, resolve issues, and effectively advocate for the demand creation initiatives.

  • Experience working with SFDC and Marketo is a plus

  • High energy, “can-do” spirit/self-starter

The salary range for this position is 69,000 - 105,000 USD. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for up to a 10% performance bonus.
