In this role, you will be responsible for defining the Global logistics and customs strategy for the Gas Power organization as well as ensuring the operational activities are executed effectively in order to deliver materials, parts, and product at the lowest cost, best quality, and best cycle.

Responsibilities :

As the Global Logistics COE Leader, you will:

  • Develop a global logistics strategy to improve the total cost of materials management execution and point to point delivery to support parts, product factory, and project site material across Gas Power

  • Build a world class organization, with enhanced capability to manage all aspects of our logistics network from our suppliers to our manufacturing/projects/warehouse centers and to our customers project sites

  • Drive data strategy that aligns for better total landed cost decision making

  • Drive transformation across org beyond logistics team to reduce usage of premium freight

  • Operationally influence key decision maker such as material, manufacturing, project and sourcing to improve planning and driving better cycle and cost

  • Drive custom compliance and optimization across Gas Power

  • Drive stronger connection from a customs team to include duties in decision making for lower landed cost

  • Operationalize and integrate lean thinking to reduce non value-added activities and improve wing to wing cycle

  • Design optimal organization structure to support the successful execution of logistics across the unique spaces of services, products, and projects

  • Review existing logistics strategies, approaches, and methodologies aimed at improving our overall logistics performance in collaboration with business and operational leaders

  • Develop a strong relationship with business and operations teams to partner in driving key logistics and business metrics

  • Drive 100% compliance with relevant policies, procedures, competitive bidding, and export control regulations

  • Implement continuous improvement activities in all areas of responsibility, with a particular focus on improving processes to help the logistics team focus more on value-added items and improve operating performance


  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college and/or equivalent knowledge experience

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in energy or related industry with depth in spaces of services, products, and projects

  • Significant leadership experience in logistics or supply chain functions

  • Significant progressive leadership in leading global and inclusive teams

  • Experience in a company where lean operating systems drive the business

  • Strong leadership skills and proven track record of building successful teams to high levels of performance

  • Proven track record of collaborating across a global matrix of senior leaders

  • Strong knowledge of international logistics procedures, practices and norms

  • Experience leading in the energy projects industry

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to cope with multiple complex situations daily

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
