General Electric Lead FP&A Operations Analyst in Atlanta, Georgia

Role Summary:Finance Analysts ensure that GE Digital Technology makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it's planning, designing, or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic business decisions. Skilled at balancing different priorities at a time; the ideal candidate for this role is detail-oriented, while adept at finding creative ways to step back and see the full business picture.

Essential Responsibilities:This role offers you the opportunity to help shape Digital Technology’s business by leading multiple planning and operating rhythms across GE. You will help organize, design, and communicate executive-level deliverables such as Planning, Quarterly Business Reviews, and will partner effectively with various global GE business teams.

We’re looking for driven individuals eager to learn new tools, automate processes, and build global relationships. Core responsibilities include:

  • Drive the GE Digital Technology Finance processes, including actual / forecast reporting

  • Use big data to architect metrics, solve problems, and influence executive decision-making

  • Learn and develop new tools to drive scalable analysis and insight

  • Streamline and automate billing processes and volume analytics and metrics

  • Help identify and create new billing streams across the business

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration

  • 3 year of relevant work experience in financial/quantitative analysis

Eligibility Requirements:

  • This role will be located in Atlanta, GA or Cincinnati, OH

Desired Characteristics:

  • Developed spreadsheet skills (proficiency in Microsoft Excel required)

  • Ability to communicate with all levels, including senior management teams

  • Ability to self-start and self-direct work in an unstructured environment

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment

  • Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills

  • Experience with automation; strong desire to learn digital tools and automate processes
