Job Description Summary
The Finance DT Analyst will be accountable for providing support to the Digital Technology organization within GE Corporate, ensure the consistency of key internal and external metrics for Enterprise function groups. In addition, the role will work with multiple cross functional and organizational projects to enhance efficiencies, reporting, billing/pricing, FP&A processes, operational excellence and related projects as needed across the DT Organization
Roles and Responsibilities
Work across the GE Digital Technology Finance function on actuals analysis, forecast reporting processes and operating rhythms. Drive process rigor and standardization across key financial processes around OPEX and CAPEX.
Design and implement a sustainable process for tracking and analyzing the spend and return on critical projects and initiatives.
Ensure consistency around reporting for supporting cost-out and productivity initiatives to help achieve Horizontal Practices budget.
Assist with defining enhancements to financial processes and drive operational accountability/ownership of costs and alignment of revenue with expense trends.
Be the single point of contact for GE Corporate Global functions leaders and lead GE Digital Technology on all system & process initiatives
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration plus 5 years relevant experience
Experience preparing variance analysis and financial forecasts
Proficient use of financial systems and analysis tools to include Microsoft Office Suite
Able to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues
Strong communication, project management, and presentation skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Established analytical and project management ability
Knowledge of GAAP
Ability to work across functions at all levels
Experience with Oracle Hyperion
