General Electric Indirect Sourcing Analyst in Atlanta, Georgia
Job Description Summary
The Indirect Sourcing Analyst is responsible for developing and applying best-practice processes and policies across indirect procurement, including spend analytics, savings and initiative tracking, sourcing tool configuration and application (eRFX/RFI, auctions). The Operations Analyst will assist the indirect category management and business sourcing teams in the end-to-end sourcing process, including market analysis, supplier screening/identification, RFx preparation and analysis, should-cost analysis, assessment of business needs (specifications, demand), and KPI development/tracking. The Operations Analyst will also work with the COE Leader to establish and institutionalize sourcing related best practices (Lean standard work, systems configuration, training development, etc.)

Roles and Responsibilities
Collaboratively assist category management and business sourcing teams in end-to-end sourcing process
Market analysis, supplier identification and screening
Pressure-testing of business needs/specifications, identification of demand management and compliance TCO opportunities
Execute advanced analytics, e.g., should-cost analysis
Maintain library of RFI/RFPs, cleansheets
Prepare and execute RFI/RFPs (manual as well as using e-sourcing tools)•Lead bid analysis and evaluation
Implement sourcing best practices, e.g., lean standard work, systems configuration/setup, training modules
Uphold internal and external policies, regulations and laws
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 5years' experience in Sourcing, Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial, or equivalent consulting experience
Desired Characteristics
MBA or Bachelor’s degree in Sourcing, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Engineering
Collaborative mindset in working across functional areas
RFP/RFI and e-sourcing tool experience
Strong analytical/problem-solving skills (spend analytics, should-cost analysis, market R&I)
Lean / six-sigma experience
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Excellent/Advanced MS Excel, Smartsheet, Tableau, Database management skills
Demonstrated negotiations skills
Aggressive self-starter
Strong project management skills
Experience with RFQ implementation and execution •Working knowledge of ERP/ SSS systems
