Job Description Summary

The Inclusion & Diversity Leader role is an exciting opportunity to continue to build and drive structure,

support business performance through diverse teams and perspectives that better equips GE to build a world

that works. This leader will bring a strategic mindset while being an operational executer, analyzing and

understanding what it takes to influence, change and take action in partnership with the Chief Diversity Officer,

CHRO Organization & Talent Development Leader, and influencing across the greater GE Digital leadership

team and global matrix at GE. This person should have strong organization skills complementing a curiosity to

innovate and lead change, while demonstrating a global mindset. As a GE Digital employee, you will be

responsible for adopting lean practices within HR and embodying the leadership behaviors required as a leader

in the function.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Leverage domain expertise in inclusion & diversity to consult on strategy and design, build and execute end-to-end programs globally on behalf of key stakeholders including the Chief Diversity Officer, GE Digital’s senior leadership team, the CHRO and other key stakeholders.

  • Provide project/program management design and execution for a variety of key priority initiatives. Assess and enhance current I&D strategy and programs in partnership with key stakeholders to foster a career development and development of talent.

  • Provide guidance and support to Employee Resource Group

  • Participate in GE company wide inclusion and diversity councils/committees and initiatives

  • Synthesize data and prepare executive summaries to drive and influence decision making May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view

  • Impacts the team's ability to achieve service, quality and timeliness of objectives. Work is subject to functional policy objectives. Regularly advises management in the business on inclusion & diversity. Has a supportive role in decision making about important subjects. High levels of evaluative judgment are required to achieve outcomes required.

  • Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Inclusion and Diversity.

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to research and lead programs and/or projects across multiple countries.

  • Previous experience in a dedicated inclusion and diversity role

  • Strong research, project and program management skills.

  • Experience in change management supporting the rollout of new initiatives or cultural change.

  • Expertise in analyzing and representing data in spreadsheets and creating polished presentations.

  • Experience working in a matrixed environment.

  • Strength in influencing others toward achieving challenging goals.

  • Executive presence.

  • Experience as an HRM or HRBP would also be valuable
