The GRC Technical Analyst, will be responsible for IT risk management and compliance data analytics and reporting for GE’s Enterprise control environment. This role is an individual contributor reporting to the Risk and Compliance manager.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Responsible for the execution of IT risk and analytical-related tasks for new and existing GE Enterprise processes and events such as building reporting dashboards and defining KRIs and KPIs;

• Review current and new regulatory requirements impacting GE’s Enterprise IT environment;

• Work with GE teammates and internal stakeholders to ensure supporting tasks, such as documenting risk analyses and assessments are completed;

• Partner with internal stakeholders to define data sets and determine reporting capabilities for IT Risk and Compliance areas;

• Leverage experience with Lean business process and Agile development processes to drive data analytic solutions;

• Effectively communicate project results by preparing various reporting deliverables and presenting to technical and non-technical audiences;

•Develop data visualizations and reports to derive insight and business value; and

•Apply key technology concepts such as access control, data classification, patch management, and network security.


Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Data Analytics, IT Governance, IT Risk, IT Audit, Infrastructure Operations or related fields, preferably with Fortune 100 companies or Big 4 assurance organizations

Desired Characteristics:

• Intermediate knowledge of IT Infrastructure and Cloud Architecture

• Experience with data visualization software and reporting such as PowerBI, Tableau, and Spotfire

• Strong Microsoft Excel and SQL skills

• Solid working experience using scripting languages specifically Python and NodeJS

• Industry-recognized security certification(s), such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP, AWS/Azure Cloud Practitioner, etc.

• Solid understanding of cybersecurity and technology risk requirements and practices

• Working knowledge of risk and control frameworks (COBIT, NIST, ISO, etc.)

• Working knowledge of regulatory requirements (SOX, HIPAA, CMMC, PCI, FISMA, etc.)

• Ability to collect input from multiple stakeholders to incorporate complex business and technical requirements

• Creative thinking with strong analytical skills

• Strong communication skills – ability to appropriately communicate across technical and management audiences
