Job Description Summary
Essential Functions / Responsibilities:
Global Planning Manager will build, deploy and maintain digitized/automated tools to visualize project performance and performance indicators at both a project and portfolio level. Lead various initiatives around lead time reduction to help improve on-time delivery and contract margins. Improve project on time delivery and therefore improving project financial performance. Analyze projects and portfolios to determine trends and indicators that provide advanced warnings of project risks. Build, deploy and maintain project and portfolio reports for resource management, procurement and construction management. Develop and provide forensic schedule analysis capabilities and tools to support claims analysis. Collaborate with other functions to build integrated schedules with engineering, procurement, manufacturing and construction. Integrate other functional tools to integrate with the Primavera schedules for automated updating and reporting. Build, deploy and maintain historical data and build tools to analyze active projects vs historical to define the schedule risk. Build, deploy and maintain template schedules to be used as a standard across the businesses. Effective communicate and influence globally senior leaders and individual contributors on projects, initiatives, risk and trends.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Position requires a bachelors degree, or foreign degree equivalent in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible post-bachelors degree related experience. The position also requires: 5 years’ experience working directly with PRIMAVERA; 5 years’ experience providing integrated planning of large turnkey projects over $10 M each; 3 years of experience working in the electric utility or grid connections business; 5 years of experience growing project planning functionality including process, tools, skills and operating rhythms in a $1b + multinational Turnkey projects company; 4 years of experience working globally (5+ countries) with teams of 100+ people; 3 years of experience directing a global team of people in a project capacity; project digitization skills; demonstrated skills leading and having deployed digital project execution tools cross functionally in a $1b+ multinational turnkey projects company. Includes integrating PRIMAVERA with other functional tools and ERPS.
