Senior Finance Manager for Corporate DT Vendor Management Organization

Job Description

Lead Vendor Management Office within Corporate Digital Technology (DT) by developing and executing financial governance and processes and managing team members who will be gathering data, creating models, and providing analysis that will support vendor engagements and negotiations.

Responsibilities

  • Drive continual operational improvement, lead governance, standardization, and automation to scale Vendor Management Office.

  • Maintain and track Level 4 Financial Bowler KPI’s for VMO/Sourcing

  • Build and review scenario analysis and provide recommendations for financial risk and opportunity.

  • Review financial analysis and complex models that are substantiated by key drivers and assumptions for Digital Technology’s vendors.

  • Participate in technology strategies related to vendor landscape for Corp DT.

  • Develop & recommend negotiation strategies and considerations.

  • Provide strategic financial support for product finance and FP&A team.

  • Partner effectively with other teams including Sourcing, Operations, and Legal.

  • Ad hoc financial analysis as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field or equivalent practical experience

  • 10+ years of FP&A (or related) experience required.

  • 3+ years of experience supervising a small team(s).

  • Advanced Excel skills are essential.

  • Must be willing to work on site 3 days a week when our GE Offices reopen.

Desired Characteristics

  • Prior experience in Tableau, Power BI, SQL or other relational database tools a plus.

  • Positive demeanor, collaborative and team oriented. Comfortable in a fluid environment that changes as the business evolves

  • Self-starter with an inquisitive mind willing to provide recommendations by retrieving and coordinating big data and performing analytical rigor

  • Proven ability to drive large-scale planning that involve multiple business partners

  • High attention to detail

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to lead, set objectives, and to seek results

  • Ability to work effectively with operational and remote teams

  • CPA/CMA/MBA preferred, but not required in lieu of additional direct experience

  • Prior FMP or CAS Experience a plus

  • Prior experience supporting Information Technology function(s)
