General Electric Director - Digital Operations in Atlanta, Georgia

Role Summary:

The Director - Digital Operations’ primary responsibility is ensuring product and service effectiveness by analysis, review and delivery of key operational metrics. The metrics will be reported and reviewed with key business contacts and product leaders to continuously improve product and operational performance. The Director - Digital Operations will manage Operations Engagement team working closely with the CoreTech Account Managers to inform, collaborate and deliver on business priorities.

Essential Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate and deliver in collaboration with Account Managers the infrastructure operations account and operational reviews with the GE businesses

  • Work closely with business and operational product leaders to create standard dashboards and operational reports. Reporting focus will be on improved availability, product performance and delivering customer value

  • Work with account managers to develop reporting views that provide business intelligence and insight into key areas of focus to drive technology road-maps, investment, and key technology initiatives

  • Work as a close partner with Operations Leaders, Service Management, and DOC to proactively identify and resolve issues and make recommendations for improvements to existing technologies and processes. Includes analysis of incident, problem and change trends specific to business customers

  • Develops reporting for operational and business leaders specific to customer product consumption. Includes consumption and operational health reporting

  • Develops customer recommendations and improvement plans

  • Delivers operational reviews to operational leaders and business leaders Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience with established leadership experience in Service Management, Operations, Business Management or related discipline and / or function

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading multi-discipline technical teams, preferably with international reach across multiple service typesEligibility Requirements:

  • Experience in infrastructure operations, IT Service Management. Specific focus on experience with complex Asset Management ecosystems

  • Experience leading large scale organizational change and successfully managing through business transformation

  • In-depth experience with all aspects of IT Service Management, Data Analytics & Business Intelligence including reporting

  • Knowledge of technologies asset management (CMDB), monitoring, event management, notification, alerting and ticketing systems

  • Experience in Infrastructure operations with specific focus on change, problem, incident, monitoring, and knowledge management

  • Experience in business or relationship managementBusiness Acumen:
