Job Description Summary

Be responsible for designing and programming infrastructure and platform components for a large enterprise class cloud native solution working on full stack of platform components. You will work independently and contribute to the immediate team and to other teams across business. You will work on designs under the guidance of senior staff.

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Identify the scope of the work, provide initial estimate and justify the estimate with facts Demonstrate the understanding of agile software development lifecycle

  • Engage in technical discussions; participate in technical designs and present technical ideas

  • Execute in a fast-paced delivery mode and focus in delivering tasks to meet the product release goal Maintain code quality through best practices, unit testing and code quality automation

  • Seek and provide feedback on design and development

  • Demonstrate the ability to make informed technology choices after due diligence and impact assessment

  • Understand whole product, its modules, and the interrelationship between them while being an expert in the assigned component or module Articulate the need for scalability and understand the importance of improving quality through testing.

  • Become an expert in writing code that meets standards and delivers the desired functionality using the technology selected for the project Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project

Technical Expertise

  • Solid understanding of agile software development methodologies

  • 3+ years experience and expert level understanding of infrastructure using CSPs AWS, Azure, GCP, Digital Ocean, and or Rackspace

  • Solid hands-on experience with infrastructure Ubuntu, RHEL, or CentOS

  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, and or ECS

  • 2+years of experience in automation with tools Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, CloudFormation, and or Boto Framework

  • 2+ years of experience in CI/CD using Gitlab, Jenkins, ArgoCD, and or Tekton

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum years of experience 3 years preferred

“The compensation range for this position is $114,000 - $228,000 (insert job range). The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for sales incentive compensation. Available benefits include permissive time off, healthcare coverage options, and matching 401K plan.”
