The Digital Energy Asset Management & Analytics Product Marketing Director is responsible for providing marketing leadership to the sales & product management teams and defining product strategy and positioning through industry and competitive analysis, value proposition creation, key messages, and content creation.

Essential Responsibilities

The Product Marketing Director should be the voice of the customer and use primary & secondary research as well as internal data and competitive intelligence to develop deep understanding of the market, competitors, ecosystem and customers – ultimately acting as the owner for market development at a portfolio level. . This person will work closely with commercial teams, the product management team, and other critical stakeholders, ensuring that each group has a fresh perspective of our digital solutions and how they fit in the Digital Energy portfolio and be able to articulate and position solution value propositions via external communications and programs.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop market expertise and insights using customer segmentation - translate trends into commercial opportunities, lead the team in developing competitive advantages, and leverage competitive intelligence for strategic business plans

  • Gather and analyze information regarding competitor products and recommend target costs and commercial strategies for new and existing products

  • Work closely with internal stakeholder teams including Communications, Strategic Marketing and Events

  • Value proposition – help develop clear and compelling value propositions that address customer outcomes

  • Go-to-market – support marketing strategy, sales enablement and launch plans for new releases; generate product naming, campaigns, messaging, content and thought leadership in support of new releases.

  • Content – lead and execute compelling content development for marketing campaigns to promote product/service portfolio

  • Sales enablement – deliver information, content and tools in a prescriptive manner that aligns to the buyer’s journey (sales playbook, demo, target customer lists, etc.)

  • Demonstrated ability to generate compelling stories

  • Brand – Ensure all aspects of product marketing content are on brand, consistent, focused on customer outcomes, and employ best marketing practices

  • Brand and solution positioning – influence external events and channels to ensure the brand and solutions are competitively positioned as the leading solution

  • Helps develop marketing requirements document – document business case, VOC, value, design and prioritization requirements for early new product releases tollgates

  • Metrics – measure and drive lead generation, orders and sales performance (as needed)

Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field from an accredited university or college

  • A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in strategic marketing, product marketing, market analysis, consumer insights, sales/branding or related field experience

Eligibility Requirements:
