Job Description Summary
Lead Quality Engineer will be part of a cutting technology with CMC.
This part GE Aviation who makes CMC hardware for 9X military systems in the Asheville facility.
Roles and Responsibilities
Quality engineering role is a tech role, good understanding of the hardware, process change approver and validate new hardware and appropriate testing and shop floor support and non-conformances
Ownership includes both quality assurance and quality control.Includes quality assurance of products, services, manufacturing processes and conformance in manufacturing, incoming goods control, product inspection.
Specifies needs, communicates about project approach and presents outcomes of research done.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Manufacturing.
Leadership ability: strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborative
Problem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinker
Prior GE experience a plus
Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn
