General Electric Bio Process Marketing Manager in Amersham, United Kingdom
Role Summary:You will be a market & segment expert responsible for planning, organizing and executing programs that either will generate new opportunities or advance existing ones while working in
partnership with sales and product teams.
Essential Responsibilities:In this role, you will focus on a specific customer application or customer segment related to the field of Bioprocess; the industry of biotherapeutic/biologics development and manufacturing and will also support wider Life Sciences programs and activities. In addition this role will have a focus on our RFB and single use technologies.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Working with sales teams on both a segment and account by account basis to assist commercial opportunities and relationships, constantly review customer data to identify future actions.
Develop and execute demand creation and funnel acceleration tactics supporting product and solution commercial launch plans and installed base marketing initiatives.
Prepare all channels to support programs of outbound and inbound marketing (New products, Events, Direct Mktg, email Mktg etc.).
Creation, testing and reiteration of an integrated quarter by quarter marketing plan: In partnership with Product and Sales teams, ensuring execution of impactful content and utility marketing campaigns. This includes accountability for ensuring that sales teams will be properly trained and equipped
Develop and implement Priority Account marketing strategies to support Account Managers in selling new products and solutions, with an ultimate focus on the customers’ needs and intended outcomes.
Capture customer data based insights and conduct Win/Loss analysis: Analyze channel/field level win/loss data and conduct in-depth customer interviews to generate insights and develop hypotheses on the go to market strategy and commercialization plan in the region, aligned with sales funnel and sales related metrics (conversion rates, customer retention etc.)
Measure and report the effectiveness of all relevant marketing activity in the region. Apply learnings.

Knowledge of the BioProcess technologies related field, industry dynamics, developments and technology applications
MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
Extensive commercial marketing experience with demonstrated application of: customer segmentation digital marketing, marketing data analysis – SalesForceDotCom, content and utility marketing and utilisation of social media in a business context
Experience in a commercial environment. For example; sales, key account management, sales management, marketing, scientific support.
Strong time management, organizational, and administrative skills with an ability to energize, develop, and build rapport at all levels within an organization.
Willingness and ability to take on additional responsibilities and undertake challenging tasks and/or global projects.
Excellent oral and written communications skills. Capable and comfortable with telephone and web-ex presenting.
Willingness and ability to travel within Europe and US.
