Job Description Summary

Successful candidate will be part of the team responsible for project execution related to Grid Automation business in Central Asia, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan with opportunities across Europe. The main functions: development of control applications for electrical substations, power plants, industrial sites , configuration, testing and commissioning of control system applications, customer service as well as tendering support and sales support

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

• To build applications and control system architectures;

• To configure control systems, including field level;

• Organisation of pre-FAT and FAT

• Site commissioning covering servers, gateways, HMIs, bay level, communication with protection, integration of third-party systems and devices

• To interact with the clients on technical subjects

• To build project technical documentation

• hotline support to clients within service and framework contracts

• To support tendering

• Documentation management for protection devices and solutions (brochures, manuals)

• Sales support

Qualifications/Requirements

• Fluent in English

• Fluent in Russian

-Education: High school diploma

-Knowledge/experience: Experience in similar positions in power industry from 5 years.

• Deep knowledge of industry - specific communication protocols and network devices (switches, routers); cybersecurity expertise will be a plus

-Understanding of modern technologies in substation automation (especially digital substations);

• Knowledge of CopaData Zenon is highly preferable

• Knowledge of GE DS Agile is a strong plus

• Ability to travel up to 65% of time
