Baker Hughes, a GE Company has a new opportunity for a Technical Sales Engineer to join our WBI team in Aberdeen, UK
Provide skilled level support for all conventional Wellbore Intervention services, with particular focus of Conventional Fishing and Casing Exits.
Develop technical solutions for customer wells involving Wellbore Intervention services.
Ensure flawless execution of assigned projects.
May be required to go offshore for special projects / requirements.
Assist in investigations into unexpected or unsatisfactory product performance to determine root cause and preventative actions.
Develop commercial proposals in response to customer enquiries.
Promote Wellbore Intervention products and services to existing and new customers.
Promote introduction of new technology into the market.
Handle special projects as assigned.
Assist in collaborative projects within CWI and Fullstream Opportunities.
Promote BHGE cultural pillars within Wellbore Intervention group and wider CWI team.
Conduct all business activities in accordance with BHGE HSE policies and legal compliance requirements.
Significant related experience.
Strong technical knowledge of conventional WBI products and services, particularly fishing and casing exits.
Must have strong team working and communication skills.
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering preferred or equivalent knowledge or experience.
Thorough understanding of downhole mechanics, hydraulics and rig operations.
Proficient use of computer based programs related to application of products.
Good problem solving skills.
Good organisation skills, being able to prioritise tasks under pressure and time constraints.
