General Electric Engineer - Operations in Wuhan, China

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of project drawings and ensure documents are processed into the Project Filing System.

-Works with Project Manager and Project Engineering Manager to update drawing lists and to coordinate releases and distribution.

-Ensure document transmittals and distributions are conducted timely and accurately in accordance with departmental and ISO Procedures.

-Trace project document submission progressing and remind project team on schedule.

-Coordinate the collection of technical standards for in-house Engineering Library.

-Assist in development of standards for Engineering and Electronic Records creation, maintenance, storage and disposition processes.

Supervise and urge project team to follow document management procedure and relevant tools usage.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Library Management, English, or Engineering required.

  • Familiar with document controlling process and relevant tool operation.

  • Able to learn to effectively communicate technical issues across disciplines, cultures, work locations, and hierarchical level. (written and verbal)

  • Demonstrates initiative, teamwork and commitment.

  • Sens of responsibility and accountability. Be proactive.

  • Good computer, Word, Spread sheets operation and communication skills.

  • Good in English.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Experience in engineering is a plus.
