Role Summary:

Technical support during outages, maintenance interventions, plant optimisation, commissioning, etc.

Essential Responsibilities:

The service will entail close co-operation with various power plant stakeholders for:

  • Identification of technical problems

  • Solving technical problems

  • Repair methods and maintenance philosophies

  • Spares requirements and optimization

  • Quality verification during outage work, modifications and repair work

  • Technical support during outages, maintenance interventions, plant optimization, commissioning, etc.

  • Active transfer of skills and knowledge to power station staff

  • Continuous condition monitoring of plant in service, effective reporting of abnormalities as well as technical support for correcting abnormalities

  • Compiles, review and update site procedures, work instructions, scopes of works, etc. Qualifications/Requirements: Minimum Requirements:

  • B.Sc. Eng. / B.Eng. in, Electrical/ Electromagnetically

  • B-Tech in Electrical

  • ECSA registered as Prof Engineer/Technologist

  • Must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in the role’s location Desired Characteristics:
