Role Summary/Purpose

Act as the liaison between Engineering, NPI, and the shop floor materials team on all part related changes to current and future products. The Materials Change Coordinator will interface with all levels of the workforce and management to achieve successful implementation of both part phase in and full new product introductions (NPI). This role requires the ability to interact with many global teams and work with limited direction.

Essential Responsibilities

•Own the Materials ECR/ECO review and promotion

•New Oracle part set up, cost, BOM set up, and cost requests

•New routing set up, change, and set up for WIP jobs

•Issue orders for new parts

•Interface with Sourcing on BPA set up

•Setting and removing Incoming Inspection Flags and defaults for ETS and FAI Maintaining

•Essential to Safety Configurations

•Coordinate with the material, manufacturing, and fulfillment teams

•Item master set up and maintenance / Cost request workflow

•Make all BOM changes to Manufacturing WIP and kits

•Work with vendors on all communications and change notices

•Manage Phase In / Phase Out (NPI) to minimize obsolete material

Quality Specific Goals:

1.Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position

2.Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines

3.Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required

4.Knowledge and understanding of production process work instructions and operates within them

to ensure that a device conforms to its specifications

5.Ensures the creation of accurate, complete and timely records and DHRs


Bachelors degree and 2 years supply chain experience or HS diploma and 6 years supply chain experience

Proven ability to drive change initiatives in a matrix environment

Ability to successfully motivate and maintain employee involvement while driving change
