Role Summary:

The Financial Operations Leader will ensure proficiency and provide leadership to all Regional Support staff by providing Subject Matter Expertise. You will be involved in all phases of the project life cycle, spanning the commercial ITO (Inquiry to Order) handoff to the execution of the Services at site. The ability to lead and motivate cross functional teams, critical thinking, and imagination will be key traits required to be successful in this role.

Essential Responsibilities:

As the Financial Operations Leader, you will:

  • Manage the O&M (Operation & Maintenance) site cost, Project Startup and Commissioning Tools and Processes for your region

  • Manage and support staff to track site performance and access to complete site finance and resources, including O&M tools and processes

  • Track regional portfolio performance against the Operations and as sold contracts

  • Oversee preparation of detailed billing packages for transactional jobs

  • Ensure information is obtained in a timely manner with a high level of accuracy

  • Track performance of traveling service teams and create monthly report packages for business leadership

  • Ensure proficiency and provide leadership to all Regional Support staff by providing Subject Matter Expertise

  • Ensure timely completion of all tasks and reporting

  • Implement and drive GE Wind Field Service procedural compliance

  • Compile and analyze SR (Service Record) data quality and productivity metrics and other metrics as defined by leadership

  • Drive corrective actions where necessary

  • Identify training needs for support staff and ensure completion of training for development and compliance

  • Collaborate with other area peers to develop reports and presentation materials pertaining to current operational readiness and financial reporting / forecasting

  • Lead virtual conferences and/or report out on metrics in regards to any issues that may arise in the region

  • Participate in system upgrade testing events and advise on potential changes

  • Provide training to field employees on system upgrade and/or process releases

  • Ensure Oracle Install Base setups complete for all new sites within region, following new site setup WF (Work Flow) procedures

  • Ensure operational excellence in the areas of integrity, controllership, and compliance

  • Lead Six Sigma process improvements and quality initiatives

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (OR Associate's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of Wind Services Support experience)

  • Minimum of 3 years of Wind Services Support experience

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT:

  • Ability and willingness to travel as required
