Role Summary/Purpose

The Stockroom Coordinator will maintain oversight of accuracy of stockroom responsibilities as it relates to kitting, work order requests, and shipping / receiving paperwork. In this role, you will maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment, produce quality results, help control costs, assist the shop in meeting production requirements, and develop job knowledge. The Stockroom Coordinator will have short term goals with some long term goals.

Essential Responsibilities

The primary function of the job is to maintain inventory accuracy; receive and stock parts, materials, supplies, and tools; issuing prepping parts; and kitting jobs for assembly, assuring correct parts are being issued.

In addition you will :

  • Be responsible for overseeing pulling parts from inventory for issue to the manufacturing shop or for shipment to customers

  • Use basic computer skills within Windows 360/2016

  • Prior experience dealing with external suppliers & internal customers, preferably 3-5 years of experience

  • Support & coordinate Team initiatives

  • Cross train other employees on key functions

  • Work with limited supervision & direction to resolve other department or customer concerns

  • Work with internal customer support teams to provide commits on Finished Goods products

  • Identify potential roadblocks to on time delivery & work with teams to escalate issues as required

  • Possess thorough understanding of all material transactions / processes in order to uncover root cause & corrective action to ensure inventory accuracy

  • Most frequent interaction with internal customers and support functions (i.e. – Sourcing team, Planners, Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Fulfillment Mgr., etc.) outside of home department

  • Process and administration of all outside processing (OSP) PO’s for production requirements


  • High School Diploma / GED

  • Understanding of Oracle R12

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Desired Characteristics

  • Preferred: advanced working knowledge of Oracle R12 as related to Sourcing functions

  • Experience working in a warehouse capacity for a manufacturing and / or aerospace environment

  • Energetic and positive attitude to excel in skills and knowledge

  • Excellent attendance and punctuality history

  • Makes decisions based on experience and available data

  • History of meeting or exceeding job requirements

  • History of accepting or giving constructive criticism

  • Flexible for various shift assignments and overtime

  • Obtain license / certification and operate fork lift truck safely and efficiently

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience working in a warehouse or place of similar experience

  • Communicates clearly and effectively

  • Familiarity with proper packing and labeling to insure safe and efficient deliveries

  • Ability to utilize Microsoft applications (i.e. – Word, Outlook, Excel, PPT., etc.)
