Role Summary:

Baker Hughes, a GE company has an opening for Disassembly, Maintenance & Overhaul Technician – 3 rd Shift in Tulsa, OK.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for efficient maintenance of shop equipment

  • Assemble and disassemble all equipment as per standard procedures

  • Conduct initial inspections of equipment that come into the shop

  • Inspection of incoming and outgoing products to ensure accuracy and quality

  • Operate over-head cranes and occasional fork lift

  • May paint and perform final clean up before they are sent back to the fields for services

  • Operating and maintain repair equipment to complete day to day tasks

  • Attend pre‐job safety meetings on location

  • This position requires constant use of PPE such as coveralls, hard-hat, gloves (job dependent), safety shoes and shields

  • Performs other related duties as instructed by supervisor

  • Operate all equipment in a safe and responsible manner

  • This position is a Mon-Fri role on a shift basis; must be open to work on either first or second shifts as required and on call basis

  • Hours/Shift: Work 3 rd Shift (M-F, 11pm-7am)

  • Training is 1 st Shift (M-F, 7am-3:30pm)

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Experience working with basic hand tools

  • Mechanical aptitude

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs regularly

  • Must have high regards to safety and quality

  • Must be compliant to all company policies and procedures

  • Conduct all business activities in accordance to company HSE policies

Desired Characteristics:

  • Previous assembly or disassembly experience

  • Electrical testing experience

  • Previous lapping/polishing experience

  • Familiarity with blueprints and schematics

  • First Aid training is an added plus
