Role Summary/Purpose

The Military Field Service Representative (FSR) acts as the focal point for all technical factory support of the GE F110 engine with the Air National Guard. These activities contribute to, the safe maintenance, repair and operation of sold or existing products. The FSR will provide on-site or remote support of customers with periodic roving requirements during the year.

Essential Responsibilities

IN addition you will :

  • Act as the single point of contact to the customer for timely and satisfactory resolution of concerns covering a wide variety of support services offered for assigned region, product, and coverage area

  • Responsible for knowledge of assigned region, coverage area, or product lines, their associated configuration installations, and represents the most direct access to all appropriate internal functions to support the customer

  • Establish and maintain contact to provide on-going technical and business support to assigned customers in designated geographic region or coverage area

  • Develops a year plan for its own department

  • Is involved in discussions with other functions and teams about improvement in processes, procedures and ways of working

  • Contributes to plan of larger unit

  • Communicates across direct organization

  • Presents to senior leaders (EB and SEB) in specific technical space and on cross functional teams on how technologies interconnect and contribute to overall strategy

  • Diverse clients in a region

  • Follows frameworks to get through the processes. There is room for negotiating and client specific conditions

  • Relocation expectation:Upon completion of your current assignment and provided the Company does not extend your assignment, the Company’s expectation is that you will relocate (in or outside the United States) as needed to assume a new assignment. The Company may request that you assume a specific new assignment based on the needs of the business, or you will be required to identify and post for a new assignment or position. When possible, the Company strongly encourages you to begin your search for a new assignment well in advance of your current assignment end date. Please understand that in the event you do not secure a new assignment or position following completion of your current assignment, your employment with GE is subject to termination.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Services)

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Customer Service Management

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS :

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain US Government Secret Clearance
