Role Summary/Purpose

Be responsible for leading solution design on customer requirements which are collected from manufacturing-related domains e.g. production scheduling and execution, operation management, WIP, genealogy and quality management; organize and guide various working partners (such as development team and vendors) to implement solutions on agreed specification and integration methods; ensure quality of solution and delivery of project on time.

Essential Responsibilities

  • As primary contact with client for business requirement collection and clarification

  • As team lead to drive design activities e.g. use case definition, initial proposal and blueprint sign-off

  • Lead system development including integration test, identify and solve issues within timeline

  • Plan and lead cutover activities, provide post-live support for any issue raised from production system

  • Interface with project manager, team lead and clients to effectively complete project deliverables

  • Proactively communicate with client key users/SMEs in order to best define customized digital solutions; provide consulting expertise to team members when required

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Graduated from well-known university with bachelor or master degree of Automation, Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information System or similar

  • 7+ years’ experiences implementing advanced manufacturing solutions in client-facing environment better focus on Smart/Lean Manufacturing or Dynamic Scheduling/Routing; 3+ years’ experience as team leader (better with proven outstanding records)

  • Strong consulting and interpersonal skills, with the ability to design creative solutions by leveraging package software or self-developed systems

  • Familiar with various digital solutions which are applied in manufacturing process, with in-depth industry knowledge especially on Discrete Manufacturing e.g. Automotive, Heavy Equipment, Electric, Power

  • Good spoken and written English, Mandarin.

  • Working history in big Consulting firms or industrial/IT giants is preferred
