Role Summary:

The Lead Resource Manager Uptower Repair will develop practical and innovative ways to identify and meet goals. You will be responsible for work that is less defined in scope, utilize understanding and experience to execute business objectives, and have the ability to effect short- term and long-term business goals.

Essential Responsibilities:

As the Lead Resource Manager Uptower Repair, you will:

  • Participate in the development and execution of the Uptower Repair team growth strategy

  • Work closely with and supporting regional sales leaders to ensure appropriate sales coverage and opportunities to achieve the services orders plan for assigned region

  • Regularly complete capability analysis, forecast demand, make recommendations and execute plans to close capability gaps

  • Provide the operational leadership needed to drive profitable service growth

  • Perform overall business management duties for assigned field service personnel

  • Provide accurate and timely information to assigned personnel regarding salary planning, performance appraisals, career coaching, and disciplinary action as required

  • Lead efforts to ensure customer service excellence for services provided

  • Direct manpower, tools, material, and all safety equipment for service jobs relating to uptower repair scope

  • Ensure the uptower team is compliant in all EHS regulations and that the team operates under all requirements set by GE EHS Team and OSHA

  • Develop and maintain the uptower quality program auditing and compliance

  • Analyze and implement corrective actions for financial review of all uptower repair jobs

  • Assist regional sales team with quotes for various uptower repairs

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college (OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of field / operations experience in Industrial Systems Installation and Maintenance)

  • Minimum of 3 additional years of field / operations experience in Industrial Systems Installation and Maintenance

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability and willingness to travel 50% of the time

Desired Characteristics:

  • Ability to manage effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent quality certification

  • Customer service mindset

  • Prior experience working with Top Issues programs

  • Sound business acumen

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

  • Prior experience in major component exchange or uptower repair maintenance and repairs or the finance analysis of such

  • Prior experience managing employees and/or projects

  • Prior experience with horizontal leadership

  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet processing, email programs, facility control & management systems, and computerized diagnostic & troubleshooting tools

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Oracle
