Role Summary/Purpose

As Sr. Technical Product Manager – Advanced Architecture you will be responsible to bringing innovation to our Healthcare Analytics Solution portfolio. You will be a key asset in a fast-paced, incredibly exciting market, with the opportunity to drive rapid, exponential growth.

Essential Responsibilities

The Sr. Technical Product Manager – Advanced Architecture is responsible for the competitiveness of the Analytics solution’s features, functionality, and quality. Provide direction for a product/ offering’s design, focusing on customers’ business and clinical needs. You will work with internal business champions across GEHC, as well as customers to ensure deep understanding of customer; be a contributor for product vision, strategy, roadmap, and tactical choices. You will partner closely with engineering on product requirements and design, evangelize for the product with customers, commercial teams, and other connected GE teams.

In this role, you will:

  • Create advanced analytics applications leveraging streaming, predictive, and prescriptive analytics for Healthcare Analytics software and service solutions.

  • Collaborate with other product teams, marketing, legal and finance to facilitate taking those applications to the market

  • Partner with internal and external domain experts to highlight emerging practice trends and product/content needs of the customer.

  • Innovate - Stay knowledgeable about technology trends for analytics in healthcare and align your work with GE Healthcare Analytics go-to-market

  • Work directly with development teams and/or give direction to Product Owners to implement the product requirements.

  • Applies the agile methodology to partner with engineering, and architects to get the development backlog

  • Develop and present business cases for product functionality, demonstrating sound judgment based on technical information and business needs.

  • Participate in end-user research together with our User Experience (UX) team to drive a clear target user experience and capabilities for analytics authoring, orchestration and consumption.

  • Evangelize for the product by presenting to customers and users groups; represent the product at trade shows; sell product roadmap internally; participate in winning deals; provide sales training, and generate enthusiasm for the product.

  • Ensure that the voice of the customer is clearly articulated and communicated across all teams and is the primary driver of roadmap and technology decisions

  • Directly support commercial teams selling solutions that are underpinned by Healthcare Insights software and service solutions


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, Business Administration, Healthcare, or related field

  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Product Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Product Development, or a related field including workflow experience with similar products.

Desired Characteristics

Technical Expertise:

  • Deep Product Management/Marketing expertise, including: market trends/analysis, NPI process, product roadmap development, requirements, product life-cycle management

  • Experience in Analytics and Cloud technologies like Business Intelligence / machine learning / Streaming Analytics / Deep Learning / Natural Language Processing

  • Healthcare product/industry/technical acumen

  • Experience working in Agile engineering environment
